The starting of somthing new

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and in the picture above are some of the lovely young women I work with every week. Out here in Oklahoma there are not as many opportunity's to buy modest formal dresses to wear to school dances. I donated some of the dresses that I have from my high school days but I was only one size and girls come in all shapes and sizes. One of my young women borrowed one of my dresses for this last prom and the young men told her how beautiful and classy she looked, and she talked about how comfortable she was and glad that she did not have to fuss around with a jacket or a scarf all night to keep her self modest. So we are on a mission this summer to collect modest formal gowns in a range of all different sizes so that the Young Women in Tulsa, Oklahoma can have access to the same beautiful dresses that the young women have in Utah.
This is our goals with these dresses:
We want to collect at least 30 dresses this summer in a variety of sizes, along with the email address of the person(s) who donated the dress(s). This is so we can email them when the dress was worn for a dance. They can look on this blog and see pictures of the young womon wearing there beautiful dress and see there kind deed of service in action. These dresses will be stored for girls to have access to when ever they have an event that they need a formal gown to wear and they can not afford to buy a new dress or do not have access to a modest dress. The only thing we ask of the girls is that they dry clean the dress before they return it so that it is ready for the next girl.
We are really excited for this new project and we hope it gives girls an opportunity to learn the importance if modesty, And that you can still look beautiful and feel like a princesses when you dress modestly.
